Runners Pics

She was a desperate alcoholic, became a prostitue to fund her habit. Contracted AIDS. Her last resort, to have enough food until she died, she sold her daughter into slavery.

Does that even sound real? Could a mother really be that cold hearted?

Sadly, I have to report to you that it is true. Documented true.

Stories like that are played out over and over all around the world. People without hope, people without Jesus.

What was it Jesus said as He ascended into heaven? In Matthew ...

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

That is where you find hope. In the Gospel that was brought to us by Jesus.

 That is where you find our friends at NDI ... New Directions International. {New Direction International}
Fulfilling the great commission of Jesus by going out and spreading the truth of the Gospel and feeding hungry little bellies.

They don't get there by themselves, NDI has supporters from all around the world. Including a little town called Mebane, North Carolina.
Old brick buildings, restored with new shops and restaurants. Flower pots and friendly smiles.

Today there was a large group of NDI supporters in Mebane, NC running in a marathon to support efforts to spread the Gospel of hope, through Jesus and to feed those hungry little bellies that don't have enough food to eat.

They ran, sweat, struggled and over came, for the simple desire to raise funds to give to NDI.
 NDI will use the funds so that they can go out into all the world and spread the good news.
These runners affected others around the world. Their supported running, will feed and minister to children all over the globe.

Good job runners! Thank you for loving the world for Jesus.

Here are pics of some of the runners.

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
