About Christmas

Kimberly wrote a post about Christmas. She wonders, like I think a lot of us do, what, exactly, are we doing when we celebrate Christmas. We seem to say on the one hand it's to celebrate the birth of Christ, but then on the other hand we run around like crazy people, inadvertently, being so busy with  the details that the celebration of the birth of Jesus gets crowded out by our activities. How does a person strike a balance?
